New Slade Welcome Center Coming

Kentucky governor Beshear gave a $429,130 reimbursement-based award to Powell County to build a 2300 square foot Slade welcome Center. I haven't asked yet, but I'm fairly sure that the historic Caboose and the Gazebo will be preserved during developement. You can see our governor's presentation speech on YouTube:
